Cloud server

  What is a cloud server? A cloud server is a centralized, clustered server resource that is hosted and distributed over a network (usually the Internet) and can be accessed by multiple users when needed. Cloud servers can perform the same functions as a traditional physical server, providing processing, storage and application power. Cloud servers can be anywhere in the world and provide services remotely through a cloud computing environment . In contrast, traditional dedicated server hardware is often configured locally for the exclusive use of an organization. How does a cloud server work? Cloud servers are made possible by virtualization . Management software called a hypervisor is installed on physical servers to connect  and virtualize them: their combined resources are unlinked and pooled to create virtual servers.
